From her chalet located at Chandolin in the Swiss Alps, at 2000 meters, we set off to discover the incredible destiny little known to the general public, that of Ella Maillart, sportswoman, traveler, photographer and committed writer. She is one of the women who have marked the history of the 20th century, going beyond the conventions imposed by her time. The documentary retraces the key moments of her life, from Geneva where she was born, to her arrival in Chandolin, all told by people who knew her.
