A play based on Ella Maillart's book The Cruel Way, by two French actresses, Cécile Bouillot and Stéphanie Rongeot:

2 women and 1 Ford

Their script follows the book closely and tells about Ella Maillart's journey from Geneva to Kabul in the company ofChristina (Annemarie Schwarzenbach), in 1939. The simple and efficient mise en scène makes the piece suitable for small spaces like libraries, bookshops, or private homes. The play has been shown with great success in France and in Switzerland.
