Organized by Sujettes, a Lausanne-based association founded in 2023, dedicated to promoting the Swiss “matrimoine.” For this third edition, the Journées du Matrimoine, Sujettes, and La Nuit des Musées are joining forces to celebrate the cultural legacies of women and marginalized communities in Lausanne by creating a Parcours Matrimoines. To mark the occasion, Museum Night is offering tickets to explore the activities at partner museums—Photo Elysée, the MCBA, and the MCAH—on Saturday, September 26, 2026. On September 25, starting at 6:30 p.m., Carinne Bertola, author of Ella Maillart, navigatrice — Libre comme l'eau" , will participate in a panel discussion as part of the Femmage aux Figures 2026 event at Pyxis, Maison de la culture et de l’exploration numérique, located at Place de la Cathédrale 6 in Lausanne.

On September 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Photo Elysée, a guided tour of the exhibition Ella Maillart—Photographic Narratives, led by the show's curators, Fanny Brülhart and Elisa Rodriguez Castresana.
